Term 2 wider curriculum projects

What a wonderful first time I have had as Headteacher at Hardwick Primary School. I have been blown away by the children's depth of knowledge and the way they enthusiastically approach their learning, particularly in our wider curriculum projects.

Each term, we combine our wider curriculum subjects (History, Geography, Art, DT and Science) to focus the children's learning on a project where they will use their knowledge and skills to solve a problem or creatively present their learning. As a school, we explore together the same "big question" but approach this through our own lens in each year group. This term, our big question has been, "HOW HAVE STRUCTURES INFLUENCED OUR LIVES?" and as a school, we have all considered this by focussing on Design and Technology.
