Fees, Funding and Sessions
ALL children are eligible for 15 hours of Nursery funding a week from the term after they turn 3 years old, this is called the "universal offer". Working parents of 3 and 4 year-olds may be eligible for an extended entitlement of an additional 15 hours (often called 30 hours childcare).
From September 2025, working parents of 2-year-olds may also be eligible for 30 hours a week of nursery funding from the term after their child turns 9 months old.
Please visit the Childcare Choices website for full details on early years funding: Childcare Choices | 30 Hours Free Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare and More | Help with Costs | GOV.UK
Some families of 2 year olds may also be eligible for 15 hours of funding from the term after they turn 2. This is called FEET/Disadvantage Funding. Please go to the Local Authority Website and search for 2-year-old funding for details on eligibility and how to apply online.
