GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
At Hardwick, we believe that every child deserves a school where they feel safe, happy and deeply cared for, while also being challenged to aim high and be the very best version of themselves. Our school is a warm, inclusive and nurturing community, built on kindness, respect and strong relationships, where children are supported to belong, thrive and achieve.
We hold high expectations for all our pupils and are ambitious for what they can go on to do. Learning at Hardwick is engaging, purposeful and carefully planned, helping children to develop curiosity, confidence and resilience.
Just as importantly, we want Hardwick to feel joyful. There is a real sense of warmth and magic in our school; from the smiles at the gate in the morning, to the laughter in classrooms, to the pride we feel when children share their successes. We work closely with families, valuing the partnership between home and school, because when we work together, children flourish.
